Professor Mourad is currently the Chief of Hypertension at the Internal Medicine Unit of Avicenne Hospital. He completed his academic degrees at the Pierre et Marie Curie University, Paris VI in the field of internal and vascular medicine in 1996 and in the area of cardiovascular and pharmacology in 2001.
He worked from 2002 to 2004 as the Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Georges European Hospital in Pompidou, Paris. Prior to this, from 1998 to 2002, he was Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine at St Michel Hospital in Paris. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as the assistant to Professor Safar in the Department of Internal Medicine and Hypertension at Broussais Hospital in Paris.
Dr. Mourad has been a renowned member of several societies. He is the President of the French League against Hypertension and a member of the WHL. He is the General Secretary of the French Society of Microcirculation and a member of the group “Hypertension and the Heart” of the European Society of Cardiology. He is also a member of both the French Society of Internal Medicine and the French Society of Hypertension.
Jean-Jacques Mourad is a successful co-author of more than 100 publications cited in Pubmed and a co-author of more than 500 communications in national or international meetings.
